When possible, the submitted information is published in the ROOT CELLAR PRESERVES. The data you furnish will be a valuable addition to the history of California and is a source of information to members of your family for years to come.
You may submit as many applications as you wish, but remember that only one name on each form.

We do have access to many types of records including cemetery, city directories, Mortuary's, local histories, and newspapers, some prison records and more
If you have a genealogical interest in our area, we hope that you will take full advantage of our resources.
We charge a $10.00 fee for this service. We would prefer that you only request one name at a time. You may send your request by email but make out and mail your check
to Root Cellar SGS, P.O.Box 265 Att: Look Ups, Citrus Heights, California 95611 . Depending on the type of informaiton you are looking for, we would be able to send your
informaiton digitally through email or directly by mail. Your choice.
Please be patient, like most volunteers, and ours are no different, they are giving freely of their own time and expertise to support our efforts for you.
If you want us to apply for a specific requested document (i.e. birth certificate, marriage license) this cost will be at the requesters expense.
But there will be no surprises either, we will keep in touch with you on any extra expenses.
