- 7pm "Holiday Party" with SANTA'S HELPER and lots of his ELVES. Come relax and have fun. Meet other members, share your thoughts and ideas. Bring a wrapped gift(s) to be raffled off (shhhh! it is a fund raiser at the same time)There will be lots of goodies and snacks plus a short presentation given by Glenda Gardner Lloyd. Come, relax and enjoy!

- 7pm "Using Online Newspapers for Genealogical Research" with Janice Sellers. Why are Newspapers important to Genealogists? What types of newspapers are available? Subscriptions and where? Paid Databases and FREE Databases? Portals? Come and find our the answers to these questions and more.



9 February 2012

- 7pm "Show & Tell" with our own hostess Glenda Gardner Lloyd. Bring a special family item/ collection that you would like to share with us. Bring that family story that goes with the item or collection. This is always a fun and entertaining evening for everyone. Bring a little write up of what you brought and the story. It will be put into a file and shared online with other members. If you have not participated before click on ARCHIVES on the left side bar, scroll down to the 2009 Show & Tell and enjoy. It is a large file so please be patient.

- 7pm "California and the Civil War" with Terry Meekins and Richard Hurley. This is for you if you are a Civil War buff. OR maybe you have ancestors from California that served in the Civil War. This will be a very informative evening for all

- 7pm "Protecting Your Photos" with Patrica Burrows. Again another way of protecting those very important family photos.
